Did you ever wish that cell phone shopping actually actually enabled you to get a good feel for what it is like to dial a number, take a photo or send a message with the phone you have been constantly seeing on the commercials? Instead, the shopping experience usually involves a shelf full of phones that don't turn on and are tied to said shelf. You wouldn't buy a pair of pants without trying it on first, and if you are anything like us you are carrying your phone more often than you are wearing any one pair of jeans. Tryphone attempts to fill that gap, albeit with a very small selection of phones.

Reading online reviews is one thing, but actually interacting with a new device and coming to your own conclusions is another. All they have to do is speed up the performance of the interactive demos and increase the number of phones you can play with and this could be a very useful little tool.
